Who it is aimed at
Existing customers, new ones, or an internal audience. It sets the tone of the whole thing.
Any hard deadline
A launch date, an event, a season. Worth saying up front so the schedule can be built backwards.
Access constraints
Quiet hours, client privacy, a site you cannot shut. All workable, easier when known early.
