Framing is a London based visual media studio, making video and photography for businesses, brands and independent projects across the UK.
What we do
The plan comes before the camera.
We help businesses get seen, online and in print, by turning what they do into video and photography people actually stop for.
Most of our work starts with a conversation rather than a shot list. We look at what the business is trying to move, whether that is bookings, awareness, a launch or a record of a process, then work out which visual media answers it. Sometimes that is a two minute brand film. Sometimes it is a short vertical set and a clean library of stills.
The reason for working that way is simple. A shoot day is expensive and it only happens once. If nobody has decided what the footage is for before the crew arrives, you end up with a folder of nice looking clips and nothing that does a job. Deciding first is cheaper than reshooting later.
We own and operate the full kit, so the set up scales to the job without ever losing production quality. A one person crew in a treatment room and a lit interview set up in an office get the same standard of finish, because the same person is responsible for both.
Based in London
Working across the city and available for shoots anywhere in the UK. Travel and overnights are quoted openly, never buried in the total.
Full service or partial
Take the whole thing off your hands, or drop into the part you need, whether that is planning, filming on the day, or the edit.
Video first, photography included
Video is the main focus, with photography shot alongside it so you leave the day with both instead of booking twice.
Open to collaboration
Available for subcontract, second camera and crew work with production companies, agencies and fellow shooters.

Real people, not actors
Most of the people we film have never been on camera. Direction is light and specific, so they end up looking like themselves on a good day rather than stiff.
Priced in the open
Quotes come with the line items visible, including travel. If the total is not right you can see exactly which part to cut instead of guessing.

Owned, not hired in.
Everything below is in house. That keeps the day rate honest and means the set up can change on site without a phone call to a rental house.
